Pam Barnett grew up near Detroit, Michigan with three sisters. As a young adult, she moved with her family to Houston, Texas, where she graduated from University of Houston. Marrying, she shared adventures countrywide with her husband for the next 24 years.
Upon his death in 2004, she pondered what to do with his cremains and the cremains of other free spirits that had been entrusted to her .
Because she was then living in the lovely wilderness of southeast Arizona's mountains, she was able to settle cremains on her estate. She thought how wonderful it would be to release cremains for other people who do not have ready access to abundant natural lands.
With trusted family and friends, she organized cremains settling sites in locations across the nation. These people are the cremains bearers introduced below.

William “Rog” Rogers is a native Michigander (transplanted to the Great State of Texas), and has served in various public safety roles since 1974. Rog currently holds licensure as a Master Texas Peace Officer, and has served as a patrol officer, investigator, trainer, supervisor and law enforcement manager. Rog retired from the Denton County (Texas) Sheriff’s Office as the Lieutenant over the training division; previous assignments include Assistant Commander of a multi-agency/multi-jurisdictional narcotics task force, administrative Corporal to the county sheriff, and member of the sheriff’s dive team specializing in underwater rescue and lake safety.
In 2005 Rog was selected to serve as one of 288 civilian police advisers to the Republic of Iraq. There, he trained and mentored Iraqi Police Service officers and administrators in Baghdad with the diplomatic rank of Colonel (GS-15E). He received certification by the United States Department of Justice as a practical and didactic instructor of anti-terrorism topics. In 2006 Rog was chosen to be the Deputy Director of the Iraqi Highway Patrol Academy at Camp Taji.
While assigned to the Multi-national Security Transition Command-Iraq, Rog assisted in the training of over 2,500 Iraqi Police Cadets and officers. For this service, he received an Honorary PhD (Doctor of Criminal Justice) from the Iraq Minister of the Interior and the Dean of the Baghdad Police College.
Rog currently serves as a Texas State Police Officer assigned to a local college. Before commissioning as a peace officer, Rog was an instructor of emergency medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School. Prior to moving to Dallas, Rog was a firefighter-paramedic in the Ann Arbor, Michigan area.
Rog has served on several boards, commissions and committees, such as the Board of Directors of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Denton County, as Chairman of the City of Lewisville Transportation Board, a District Committee Member of the Boy Scouts of America, and various civic, political and religious organizations.
Rog has been married to his wife, Theresa, since 1978. They have three grown sons, and are the proud grandparents of two.
Rog has chosen several areas in north Texas where he reverently settles cremains for Parkland Peace.

Janet Rolston operates a base in Spring, Texas, from which cremains are settled on shores, in coastal prairies and in the east Texas woodlands. An accomplished writer, Janet prepares press releases and responds to inquiries. Her volunteer activities have brought her many community awards, most from the local Chamber of Commerce.

Jane was president of her college sorority, and became a teacher. Now, she is happily married and is mom to her five year old son. She has an indelible love for humanity. God's love shines through this courageous lady. She settles the cremains of sports enthusiasts and University friends in Florida and other special places of the southeast.

Jean is a Spanish tutor, professional bookkeeper, tax preparer, schoolteacher, and mother to an outstanding young man, She is also a gifted dancer. This modest lady and unfailing friend settles cremains in the thriving desert landscapes of southeast Arizona. She enjoys her extensive estate at the base of the Winchester mountains, often hiking there and in other challenging natural formations.

Matt Barnett settles cremains in farmlands of central Texas. His lifelong interest in chemistry and explosives led to a Texas A&M University degree in Chemistry. He detonates dangerous charges for government and industry, and has developed his own product line of explosives. He enjoys the company of his parents, his son, and of the exceptional lady he married. A man of great integrity and ability, Matt settles cremains with gentleness and respect upon or within the earth of his family farm. Upon request, he will create a celebratory blast to mark the occasion. Matt's father, Max, a professional photographer and videographer, documents Matt's settlings for those who request a witness.
